Administrative Assistant (part-time)
We are looking for an empathetic, professional and highly-organised individual to support the coordination of the ESRC-funded Centre for the Understanding of Sustainable Prosperity (CUSP).

CUSP is a multi-disciplinary research centre led by Prof Tim Jackson at the University of Surrey, with partners across academia, business, policy and civil society. The Administrative assistant will work closely with the CUSP Director, the CUSP Centre Co-ordinator and CUSP Communications Manager to deliver effective coordination across the CUSP team and its partners.
To contribute to the effective and efficient operation of the Centre by providing excellent levels of support, the post holder will have experience of an administration role and good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and ideally web management software WordPress and Drupal, (training can be provided for the right applicant) as well as experience of diary management, arranging internal and external meetings and organising travel. Other duties include ad-hoc administration duties such as processing expenses and orders and maintaining Kolola (an impact assessment tool) and the ESRC impact assessment system Research Fish.
The post holder will have a keen eye for detail, an interest in sustainability and an interest in website management. The post holder will provide administrative support to the CUSP Centre Co-ordinator and the Directors PA and guided website management assistant to the Communications Manager.
In carrying out the duties detailed above, the Centre Administrative Assistant will have contact with all staff within the Faculty, with a close functional relationship with the CUSP Centre Co-ordinator.
