What Makes for a Good Life in Woking?

Woking/Online, 10 November 2020, 2-4pm

At CUSP, we are interested in finding out what people need to live well in different places, spaces and stages of life and what implications that has. We have been talking to residents, businesses, service providers, charities and local government about their experiences of living in the Woking area and have been asking questions like:

  • What do you like about where you live and what do you not like?
  • What would you change about where you live and why?
  • What would make for a good life where you live?
  • What are your expectations and aspirations for where you live?

We would now like to take this work further by hosting a virtual workshop to which we are inviting local people to hear some of our early findings, and to have an opportunity to work together to develop ideas of what makes for a good life in Woking and nearby. We will also be considering what is needed to translate these ideas and visions of a good life in Woking into practice.
