VISITING RESEARCHER

Julia is a visiting researcher with CUSP a graduate student at the University of Cambridge, where she focuses on the relationship between technology and well-being.

Julia Hotz is a Sociology graduate student at the University of Cambridge, where she manages a community project to explore the relationship between loneliness and local social capital. Julia had previously applied these passions to her work as the Media Coordinator for the UK’s All-Party Parliamentary Group for Future Generations, and will begin in September as the Community Manager at the Solutions Journalism Network – an organisation committed to the news coverage of responses to social problems.

While at CUSP, she will represent the New Perennials Project in an initiative to define, research, and apply ‘perennial thinking and action’ to human and planetary health. She hopes her work will provide policy solutions for local communities interested optimising human and planetary wellbeing in the long-term.
