The Resurgence & Ecologist magazine, Britain’s flagship green magazine, is hosting its fifth Festival of Wellbeing on 23 September 2017 at St James’ Church, Piccadilly, calling for a shift from economic growth to growth in wellbeing.

In the spirit of building “a movement of awareness and action to bring meaning to life and to put community wellbeing at the heart of political and social decision-making”, the festival will explore the ideas around a lasting prosperity beyond economic growth.

The one-day event will take place from 10am-6pm, and will feature CUSP Director Tim Jackson in conversation with Satish Kumar. Other speakers of the day include: James Thornton, founding CEO of environmental lawyers ClientEarth; Siân Berry, Green Member of the London Assembly, Paula Byrne, Chief Executive of ReLit (literature/mental health charity) promoting poetry as a bridge to wellbeing; James Sainsbury, Chairman of The Resurgence Trust, and Sir Anthony Seldon.

Concessionary tickets can be purchased with the following code: U2309. Student tickets are available for £25 with the following discount code: U2317. For the booking and more information about the programme, please visit the Resurgence website. The event will raise money for The Resurgence Trust (Charity No. 1120414).
